PRO-BUF-2 er robust, med hus i rustfritt stål.  Bufferen har  isolasjon på alle innganger og utganger. Med to NMEA 0183-innganger, tolv NMEA 0183-utganger, en toveis seriell port og en Ethernet-port, er PRO-BUF-2 en perfekt løsning for større fritidsfartøy, kommersiell frakt og er et flott tillegg for systemer som krever type- godkjente enheter.
